At the park
Responsibility and Liability
Your stay at Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik is at your own risk. The management of the vacation park is not liable for any damage or accidents to persons, or for theft or damage to the goods of campers or visitors. Any damage caused by you, your children, guests, visitors, or dogs must be compensated by you.
Waste Disposal and Recycling Point
The recycling point is located next to the reception car park.
No waste may be left in, around, or on the accommodation and/or pitch. Waste must be separated and deposited at the recycling point. Leaving bin bags or loose waste is not permitted, in order to maintain hygiene and prevent pests.
Supervision of children up to 6 years
Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult when going to the facilities in the park. The children’s washroom in the sanitary building is solely for children up to and including 6 years old.
Smoking Ban Inside
Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodations and facilities at our park. When smoking on the veranda, the door must always be kept closed.
A fine of €250.00 will be charged for each violation of the smoking ban.
Make sure you dispose of cigarettes only in the designated ashtrays.
Prohibited Activities in the Park
It is prohibited to deliver door-to-door advertising, sell goods from door to door, offer services, hold private or public sales, consume alcohol outside the accommodations and/or catering areas, use or possess (soft) drugs on, around, or inside the accommodations and/or camping sites, have draft systems with pressure cylinders, or possess (fire)arms.
Electric scooters and Fatbikes
Electric scooters and Fatbikes are not permitted anywhere in the park.
Prohibited water sports
Jet skis, water scooters, and e-foils are prohibited in our marina and on our vacation park. These may not use the docks and ramps at the marina and vacation park.
Wifi & Internet
At the park, you can use free wireless internet via the “Eiland van Maurik” network. This network is free of charge and suitable for basic functions such as sending messages and emails. Please note that reception and speed may vary depending on your location and circumstances.
In addition, a paid premium wifi network is available. Depending on your accommodation location, you can connect either to the “Eiland van Maurik” network or to the specific network of your accommodation (type and number). The costs for premium wifi can be easily paid online via the login screen. For more information about rates and usage, please contact reception.
Animation Activities
For some animation activities, children must register in advance and/or there may be costs involved. If no reservation is made or payment has not been completed, participation in these activities will not be possible.
Lost and Found Items
Lost items can be handed in at the reception or at the Mauk Info Desk. If the owner has already departed, the item can, upon request, be sent at the guest’s own expense and risk (cash on delivery). We accept no liability for any damage to lost items.
If the owner does not report within one month after the item has been handed in, we will assume that ownership has been relinquished.
Mail and Parcels
Incoming mail will be kept at reception for a limited time. Collecting mail is the guest’s own responsibility. The management is not liable for lost or damaged mail items.
Parcels delivered to our address will be placed in the designated parcel box located at the bike rental opposite the reception. Receiving parcels is always at the guest’s own responsibility. The management accepts no liability for lost or damaged mail or parcels. Please note: parcels requiring a signature cannot be accepted
Use of gas cylinders
Boats and Trailers
Boats (rowing, fishing, motor, inflatable, etc.) and trailers/carts may not be stored at the camping site or accommodation. For a fixed fee, these can be placed in the water or on the shore with a trailer.
Life jackets
For swimmers without a swimming diploma, wearing a life jacket is recommended at the beach.
Drone Usage
Flying a drone over the vacation park is prohibited unless prior written consent is given by park management.

- Household waste must be placed only in the residual waste compactor.
- Glass must be placed in the glass container.
- Paper must be placed in the paper compactor.
- Bulky waste and chemical waste must be disposed of by guests themselves.

Use of gas cylinders
- Only official, approved gas cylinders may be used. Please have your equipment checked regularly.
- Gas cylinders must always be transported upright and placed outside the caravan or tent.
- It is not permitted to have more than 2 gas cylinders at the caravan or tent.
- The use of LPG gas is strictly prohibited; this gas is unsuitable and may cause life-threatening situations.
- During Spar’s opening hours, you can exchange your gas cylinders.
Boats and Trailers
