Use of the pitch
Each pitch is intended for:
  • 1 camping vehicle,
  • (if permitted) 1 car,
  • 1 additional tent (maximum 2 x 2 metres),
  • a maximum of 6 persons.
Rules for the Pitch
  • The camping unit and any small tents, including guy lines, must remain fully within the rented pitch.
  • Attaching clotheslines or other wiring to vegetation is not permitted.
  • The placement of fences or other barriers on the pitch is not allowed.
  • Do not dig holes in the ground, as this may damage underground pipes and cables. Please also consider future guests who will want to enjoy a tidy pitch.
  • Cutting or trimming vegetation is not permitted. If the greenery causes inconvenience, please inform reception staff.

Exact positioning
The Eiland van Maurik team is entitled to determine the exact location of the camping unit. It is not permitted to store boats (including inflatable boats), trailers, caravans, or a second car on the pitch. If permitted, a car must be parked on the assigned pitch.

Tent and Awning
A tent and an awning can be placed for a camping unit. However, it is not allowed to place a platform or cloth on the ground for this purpose. Under the awning, no root barriers or plastic sheets are allowed, only permeable tent tiles or growth mats. This is to keep the grass as intact as possible for any future campers.

Party Tents and Shelters
Party tents are not allowed anywhere in the park – this applies to both camping pitches and accommodations.
A shelter is only permitted if it is directly attached to the camping unit.
Freestanding shelters used as a cover for items or equipment are not allowed.

Waste water
Wastewater must always be collected in a designated tank. If a drainage option is available, it must be used. Disposing of dirty water outside the designated drainage area is strictly prohibited.

Electric Heaters
The use of electric heaters is not allowed. The power supply on the pitches is not suitable for this, which may cause the fuses to blow. In cold weather, please use alternatives such as a gas or paraffin heater.

Paddling Pools
Placing a paddling pool on public areas is not allowed. On your own pitch, this is permitted, provided that an adult is always present to supervise anyone in or around the pool. The pool must be removed in the evening, at night, and whenever you leave the pitch. Pools (inflatable or with a hard or flexible wall) with a rim higher than 30 cm are not allowed.

Prohibited Activities on the Rozenwiel
It is forbidden to enter the water of the Rozenwiel with boats, SUP boards, or other water sports equipment. Swimming is also not allowed.

Age limit 21+
At least one guest in the travel group must be 21 years or older.

Group Bookings
Group bookings of more than 4 camping pitches must always be approved by the reception. Without approval, the park reserves the right to refuse access and cancel reservations.

Loose Items
When you are absent from your camping site or accommodation, you must store and secure all loose items, such as bicycles and toys, and place them out of sight whenever possible.

Use of gas cylinders
  • Only official, approved gas cylinders may be used. Please have your equipment checked regularly.
  • Gas cylinders must always be transported upright and placed outside the caravan or tent.
  • It is not permitted to have more than 2 gas cylinders at the caravan or tent.
  • The use of LPG gas is strictly prohibited; this gas is unsuitable and may cause life-threatening situations.
  • During Spar’s opening hours, you can exchange your gas cylinders.
